The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and do not need an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to single fold pushchair.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down that fits into the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version has independent suspension on all 4 wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to perfectly traverse all terrains and types'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month colour pack come together to make a stylish and elegant pushchair that is easy on the eyes and has a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's weight alone is less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it out of the box (and do so one-handed).

The wagon can be used by two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as large or deep as other wagons, which means it may not be ideal for longer excursions or for napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and it doesn't secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also has a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools. However, it's missing some critical features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller like a large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair and is marketed as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old, easily changing between a seat and a carrycot in just only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant single seat buggy, a stay-in-car-base and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. Despite being narrow, the pushchair handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. On our walk along the stony path we let them move and it did this quite well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to move even with two kids and shopping bags.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's deep enough for a changing bag and plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will be with you throughout your baby's first years and beyond. It has a number of distinctive features like the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push, and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through tight streets.

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with a great dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also light and durable. The seat can be reclined in several positions. It comes with a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be facing one another or be turned around to face parents, theoretically reducing sibling fights over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray, bottle holder as well as snack trays and a change mat. It also has a superior compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest running strollers that you can buy for your child. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
